The Lion’s PawPrints

Hey folks, those who were waiting for my Stargate fanfic, Stargate : Andromeda, will have to wait a while more, at least till May 1st. I’m sorry but this delay is inevitable.

I’m busy with Suleiman The Lion, which as up to the time of writing is 99% done and has so far clocked up nearly 160 pages, 26 306 words and more than 120 000 characters. At the same time, my study loan which will carry me to The Lost Continent is also taking up my time and I won’t want anything else to get in my way.

I do have a story to tell (in Stargate : Andromeda) but the timing is very bad at this point. I’ll be back up and writing as soon as I finish up all my messy business.

For those who know me close enough, she’s one of the few celebrities who drive me wild and for those who really really know me, My Best Friend (MBF) included, they would know I’ve been talking about the fact that she’s -now apparently used to be- 175cm tall and thus 1cm taller than me. If you’ve failed Maths and can’t seem to count, I’m 174cm tall.

Not that I find it a disaster. I happen to find some older women -as old as 40-something, but that’s another story- really hot and I do find tall/taller women particularly attractive. Not that I’m going to explain why, it’s my little secret..haha. Not even MBF can pry that out of the confines of my brain.

Anyway, apparently, Chi Ling has shrunk 1cm to be parity with my height so in case of any controversy, I would like to hereby deny that I’m responsible for the editing of the Wikipedia account. I would like to state that I would be wild about Lin Chi-Ling no matter what height, age or nationality she is.

And if you find this post of mine absolute nonsense, it is. I’m just passing my time = )

Finally! Suleiman The Lion : The Tiger Trail kicks back to high gear. After several weeks at low gear and a slight brain jam due to my study things and some other issues.

With me now at the penultimate scene titled Search And Rescue, things are really getting crazy and fun. This scene is going to be pretty long and I estimate will alone take between 8000 – 20000 words, depending on how I decide to write it. But I hope to,  Insya Allah, finish the whole thing this week.

Boris now has some new stuff and my writing is getting better. Pretty much using my brain at 100% capacity right now and I’m really pressing down the accelerator as I’m trying to bring the thing that started on the evening of January 7th 2006 somewhere just in front of the Hindu temple leading to the Spritzer water processing plant in Ayer Kuning to an end.

I wrote just under 2500 words last night, bringing the total movie script to about 15 200 words compromising about 63 000 characters, pretty much the longest single thing I’ve ever written.

How I feel right now? Cruising on the NSE at 240kmph (hey, I do know the speed limit!) in a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano with the wind blowing hard on my face. The best feeling in the world!!

Gear 6 is on, I’m going faster, faster, faster..woooooohie!
